How long does it take to recover from lip augmentation surgery?

Lip augmentation may be performed from several minimally invasive techniques. First, dermal fillers are useful for temporary enhancement for approximately 8-12 months. Normally recovery will take 1-2 weeks from the dermal injectable fillers. The fillers may include collagen (Zyderm or Zyplast), Radiance, Juvaderm, and Restylane. AlloDerm, Fascia, Autologen, and dermal grafts may induce swelling for up to 2 weeks.
