How do I manage alcohol poisoning on a daily basis?

Alcohol poisoning is an acute, serious event that requires emergency treatment. Therefore, it is not a daily condition that needs regular management. When someone shows symptoms of alcohol poisoning (including cold body temperature, confusion, pale or blue skin, seizures, shallow or irregular breathing, unconsciousness, or vomiting), call 911 and get help right away. A person who shows these effects of heavy drinking on a regular basis may have a problem with alcohol addiction. They may require counseling, medical treatment, or rehabilitation programs to address their addiction.
