Industrial waste poisoning by vinyl chloride is mainly caused by inhaling the toxin and some of the symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, eye irritation, wheezing, lung and throat irritation, and headache. If a larger amount is inhaled, respiratory failure and death can occur. Some people may be exposed by touching a liquid form of vinyl chloride. Skin symptoms include blisters and scaling on the skin, and injury similar to frostbite.
