How long does a pituitary tumor last?

A pituitary tumor will not go away without treatment. However-many tumors never present any symptoms and remain undetected for life. Medications can shrink certain tumors and sometimes destroy them completely. Surgery can also remove a pituitary tumor. Depending on its size-surgery isn't always able to remove the entire tumor.
