What skills do prosthetists need?

A prosthetist specializes in fabricating and fitting prosthetic limbs. Because they work to interface artificial devices with the human body, prosthetists need skills in areas such as anatomy, physiology and engineering. Each prosthetic limb must be custom fitted and then constructed.
