How do other illnesses affect dysprosody?

Although rare, dysprosody is caused by brain damage of some kind. Brain tumors, lesions, and injuries can all lead to this neurological speech disorder. It can also be brought on by neurological illnesses such as strokes and Parkinson's disease.
