Can dysprosody be prevented?

Dysprosody is a very rare neurological speech disorder that is typically caused by damage to the brain. Because the majority of cases are found in stroke victims, addressing treatable risk factors to help prevent strokes may reduce your chances of being affected by dysprosody. Additionally, taking precautions and wearing protective headgear while bike riding, skateboarding, and other similar activities may help prevent brain injuries and also reduce the risk of this disorder.
