Are there alternative treatments for paralysis?

There are several alternative treatment options that people with paralysis may find beneficial. Physical and occupational therapy are very helpful, because these activities help exercise muscles and joints and may improve range of motion. Massages, hot baths, and swimming are all relaxing and therapeutic to the muscles. In addition, people with paralysis should eat a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruit, vegetables, and water.
