What is Zaltrap?

Zaltrap (ziv-aflibercept) is a cancer drug. It is given through an intravenous (IV) injection and treats colon cancer that has spread (metastasized) and is not being effectively treated by other cancer drugs. It works by interfering with the ability of tumors to get access to the blood supply.
