Necon is no longer available in the United States.

Necon is the brand name for the generic oral prescription birth control pill known as norethindrone and ethinyl estradiol. Necon works both by preventing ovulation each month and making the uterine environment less favorable for pregnancy. Necon is also used to treat acne.
