What is DHT?

DHT is no longer available in the United States.

DHT, also known as dihydrotachysterol, is a prescribed medicine that is used to treat hypocalcemia (lack of calcium) and hypoparathyroidism (lack of parathyroid hormone). DHT is a synthetic form of vitamin D. The body needs vitamin D to help absorb calcium and use it productively. Calcium also helps to keep your bones and teeth healthy.
