What is Benzagel?

Benzagel is no longer available in the United States.

Benzagel is an over-the-counter acne treatment containing benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is an antibacterial substance that also dries out the skin, allowing easy cleansing of surface dirt and oils. Benzagel was available in both a topical gel and cleansing wash, in varying benzoyl peroxide strengths. However, Benzagel is no longer available in the United States. Talk to your doctor about other available acne treatments.
