Ambenonium chloride is no longer available in the U.S.

Ambenonium chloride is used to treat a neuromuscular disorder known as myasthenia gravis. As a cholinesterase inhibitor, ambenonium works by improving communication between nerves located in the muscles, making the muscles work more efficiently. It is prescribed under the brand name Mytelase.
