How long will I be treated with Kyprolis?

Kyprolis (carfilzomib), an anticancer drug, is administered by injection into a vein on two consecutive days weekly for three weeks (on days 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16).

After a 12-day rest period, you will start another cycle on the drug. If you were able to tolerate the medication during your first cycle, your dose will be increased for this one. The number of cycles depends on how well you respond to the drug and how well you can tolerate it.
