Can Xtandi help me survive longer?

One study showed that men who took Xtandi (enzalutamide) lived approximately five months longer compared with those who took a placebo. Xtandi is a prescription medication used to treat metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

The study included 1,199 men with prostate cancer who had previously been treated with docetaxel. The average length of survival for men who took Xtandi was 18.4 months, while those who took a placebo lived, on average, 13.6 months from the time they started the treatment.
