Can I use Linzess if I am breastfeeding?

If you are breastfeeding, talk with your doctor about whether you can take Linzess (linaclotide), a prescription medication used for adults with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) or chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) -- chronic constipation that has no clear cause. Experts aren't sure if Linzess passes into breast milk.
