Typhoid fever, an intestinal infection, can be transferred through food or water that has been contaminated with the Salmonella typhi bacterium. Ovarian cancer, on the other hand, is not catching. Although science is still not entirely sure what causes ovarian cancer, it is thought to have something to do with either hormones or cell formation during the ovulation period.
