Can children get penis disorders?

It's possible for children to develop certain penis disorders. In fact, some penis disorders, including phimosis (tightening of the foreskin), are more common among children than adults. Penis disorders that are caused by genetic problems are apparent during childhood. Other disorders, especially those that are caused by hygiene issues, may also affect young children. Penis disorders are most common among children who have not been circumcised. Because of these issues, it's important to teach young boys good hygiene habits early on.
