Are penis disorders contagious?

Most penis disorders aren't contagious, but some that are caused by infections or sexually transmitted diseases may be. If a condition is caused by genetic problems, injury, or the formation of scar tissue, then it's obviously not contagious. However, many penis disorders that affect the skin of the penis may be contagious if they're caused by infection that can be passed along through sexual contact. If you're diagnosed with an infection or sexually transmitted disease, you should avoid having sex till you've completed treatment so that you don't pass it along to your sex partner.
