How soon after starting phenoxymethylpenicillin will my symptoms improve?

You may see improvement in your symptoms after only a few days of treatment with phenoxymethylpenicillin. However, symptoms can improve before the infection is fully treated. Do not stop taking phenoxymethylpenicillin until your prescription runs out, or the bacteria causing your infection could return, possibly stronger and more resistant to treatment.
