How should I take amoxicillin extended-release tablets?

You should take amoxicillin extended-release tablets once a day for 10 days. They should be taken by mouth within 1 hour after you've had a meal so they will not upset your stomach. Swallow the tablets whole. Don't chew or crush the tablets. Take then at the same time every day. Take them over the entire 10 days, even if you feel better before then.
