What are the side effects of nafcillin?

Tell your doctor if the following side effects of nafcillin worsen or persist:

upset stomach
diarrhea
nausea
vomiting
pain at the site of injection.

Seek immediate medical attention by calling 911 if you experience any of the following side effects:

Symptoms of an allergic reaction, including rash, hives, itching, wheezing, breathing difficulty, chest tightness or swollen face, lips or tongue
seizures

Call your doctor right away if you have any of these side effects or symptoms:

sore throat
bloody stools
severe diarrhea
abdominal cramping
vaginal discharge
muscle pain
injection site swelling or pain
dizziness
chills
fever

Because other unlisted side effects may occur, tell your doctor about any new symptoms.
