What are the side effects of Bicillin L-A Injectable Tubex?

Bicillin L-A Tubex is the drug product packaged in a specific patented syringe called a Tubex syringe. Common side effects of Bicillin L-A include: headaches; sore tongue or mouth; mild diarrhea; vaginal discharge or itching; white patches of the mouth and tongue; or scales or redness of the skin; joint pain; or fever. If you experience these symptoms and they do not go away or become worse, call your doctor right away. If you have any of the following serious side effects, seek emergency medical treatment - call 911 - if you experience: irregular or rapid breathing; sudden fainting or lightheadedness; allergic reaction symptoms of swelling of the face, mouth, tongue or throat, shortness of breath; hives, rash, itching.

These side effects are rare, but you should call your doctor right away if you experience: abdominal tenderness, pain or severe cramps; seizures; decreased urine production; watery or bloody severe diarrhea; depression; pain, swelling or a hard lump at the injection site; unusual bleeding or bruising; fever and sore throat; nausea and vomiting; jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin).
