Does Moxatag interact with other medications or foods?

Yes, Moxatag, amoxicillin extended-release, may interact with other medications. These include: blood thinners, probenecid, birth control pills; other antibiotics, including tetracyclines, macrolides and sulfonamides; amiloride; chloraphenicol; probenecid; methotrexate; allopurinol; and oral typhoid vaccine. Make sure you tell your doctor about all other medications, vitamins and herbal supplements you take. Your doctor can ensure these do not produce harmful side effects when combined with amoxicillin extended-release tablets.
