How does Bicillin C-R interact with other drugs or foods?

Bicillin C-R is not known to interact with foods. However, this medication may have some drug interactions. Before taking Bicillin C-R, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following: anticoagulants; probenecid; methotrexate; tetracycline antibiotics; diuretics; live bacterial vaccines; nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Bicillin C-R may make hormonal contraceptives less effective. Ask your doctor about a secondary form of birth control while taking Bicillin C-R. Tell your doctor about any other prescription or over-the-counter drugs, vitamins and supplements you are taking before taking Bicillin C-R.
