Bicillin L-A Tubex is the drug product packaged in a specific patented syringe called a Tubex syringe. Bicillin L-A is not known to interact with foods. However, this medication has some drug interactions. Talk to your doctor before taking Bicillin L-A if you are taking any of the following: methotrexate; venlafaxine; cyclosporine; vecuronium; live bacterial vaccines; anticoagulants; diuretics; probenecid; tetracycline; nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Bicillin L-A may make hormonal birth control less effective. Talk to your doctor about using a secondary form of birth control while you are taking Bicillin L-A . Talk to your doctor about any other prescription or over-the-counter drugs, vitamins or supplements you may be taking before you take Bicillin L-A.
