Why should I monitor my child's posts on YouTube?

Because YouTube only reviews content that's been reported, it could take time to get to an inappropriate video of your teenager deleted. This is the main reason why you need to proactively monitor all video recording devices (including webcams built into computers) that your teen has access to. If your teen posts inappropriate content on YouTube, have them immediately remove it.
