For women with carpal tunnel syndrome, there are some findings that eating pineapple may help to reduce tissue swelling. Likewise, a German study found bromelain enzymes resulted in a statistical reduction of pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis, as well as those with rheumatoid arthritis.
