What causes bladder problems during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, your growing uterus puts pressure on your bladder. This increased pressure can damage the muscles of your pelvic floor and bladder, allowing urine to leak out whenever more pressure is felt. You may notice leakage when you cough, sneeze or exercise.
