Ovarian germ cell tumors are very susceptible to chemotherapy, so it is often used as a treatment modality. Side effects include hair loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, mouth sores, difficulty concentrating, fatigue and weakness. Chemotherapy can affect your blood cells, causing anemia, increased susceptibility to infection, and easy bruising or bleeding. While you may have some of these side effects, you will likely not experience all of them.
