Is there a cure for ovarian germ cell tumors?

Ovarian germ cell tumors can often be cured because they are very sensitive to chemotherapy. Even late stage dysgerminomas have an associated survival rate of over 80 percent. When diagnosed early, the survival rate is 95 percent. Yolk sac tumors have an associated survival rate of between 60 and 100 percent when diagnosed early. Between half and seventy five percent of those with later stage yolk sac tumors survive.
