Is there more than one kind of tinnitus with otosclerosis?

There are two main types of tinnitus: subjective and objective. People with subjective tinnitus are the only ones who can hear the noise, while a physician can hear the sound of objective tinnitus during an examination of the ear. People with tinnitus hear many different kinds of sounds. The kind of sound is different from person to person-from buzzing to whistling to clicking. These sounds vary in pitch, volume, and intensity. The sounds can also vary in whether they are continuous or come and go.
