What is ofloxacin?

Ofloxacin is a prescription antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Ofloxacin, a member of the fluoroquinolones family, does not work for all bacterial infections, but is useful in treating the strand of bacteria that causes chlamydia, gonorrhea, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, prostate infections, skin infections and pneumonia.
