What are the side effects of Ciprofloxacin-hydrocortisone?

Ciprofloxacin-hydrocortisone ear drops, or Cipro HC, can cause side effects in some people. If you experience any of these side effects and they do not go away, stop taking the medication and call your doctor:

  • Itching, pain or discomfort in or around your ear
  • Allergic reactions like rash, hives, swelling of the throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs
  • Problems breathing
  • Problems swallowing
  • Hoarseness
  • Numbness, pain or tingling in arms, hands, legs and feet
