Before starting hydrocortisone and acetic acid your doctor should have a full history of your medical problems and allergies. You should also tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements. Finally, your doctor should know if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the near future. As the medication's effects on young children are not fully understood, it should be used with extreme care on toddlers under three years of age.
