Avoid certain foods, behaviors and other medications while taking ofloxacin, the tablet form. Don't eat or drink dairy products within two hours of taking ofloxacin. Do not take antacids, vitamins or sucralfate within two hours of taking ofloxacin. Some medications, like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), should not be taken while you are on ofloxacin. Because ofloxacin can make you more sensitive to the sun, avoid direct sunlight and tanning while taking this medication.
