Can I take ofloxacin if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

It is unknown whether ofloxacin will harm your unborn baby, so tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. Your doctor can help you determine whether the risks of taking ofloxacin are greater than the benefits. You should not breastfeed while taking ofloxacin because it will pass to your baby through your milk. Your doctor may advise you to stop taking the medication or to stop breastfeeding.
