Can I get an infection from taking ofloxacin?

During or after you finish taking ofloxacin, you can develop an infection in your intestines. Your symptoms may begin with stomach cramps and a fever, followed by very watery diarrhea that does not go away. You may even notice a bloody stool. If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor right away. These are very serious signs of an infection that needs to be treated quickly.
