A physical therapist can help you design an exercise program that’s safe for you, teach you how to exercise correctly and provide supportive devices, like a brace or splint, that can ease the pain of your symptoms. The PT can also advise you on proper stretching techniques and on ways to improve your posture, which can also help minimize the symptoms of OA.
