What should I tell my child's orthodontist before they get clear braces?

Before your child gets clear braces, you should tell your child's orthodontist about any health conditions your child has, such as diabetes, which may affect your child's teeth. Tell your child's orthodontist about current medications your child takes and about whether your child plays sports. Also, talk to the orthodontist about your child's treatment plan and how your child can best take care of his clear braces.
