What kind of oral care will my child need to do with clear braces?

Your child should maintain good oral care once he gets clear braces. Otherwise, your child's new straight teeth may be stained when the braces are removed. If your child wears ceramic or plastic brackets, he should brush his teeth twice a day and floss daily.  Ask your orthodontist to show your child how to brush and floss around the brackets and wires. If your child wears a clear plastic aligner, make sure he takes out the aligner tray before brushing and flossing.
