How can I reduce complications after getting invisible (lingual) braces?

You can reduce complications from getting invisible braces with good oral care. Since your invisible braces are metal brackets attached to the back of your teeth, food and bacteria can easily get trapped between them. Brush twice a day and floss daily to clean them. Your orthodontist can also suggest water picks and other devices to help keep your invisible braces clean. Also, avoid hard, sticky, and chewy foods that can damage your invisible braces.
