How do I know if invisible (lingual) braces are right for my child?

If your child is considering invisible (lingual) braces, he or she should also consider clear plastic or tooth-colored ceramic braces that fit on the front of the teeth. These braces are less noticeable than traditional metal braces.

If your child is a teenager, clear plastic removable aligners like ClearConnect braces and Invisalign braces, are an alternative to invisible braces. Like invisible braces, they don't affect the child's appearance.
