Does insurance cover invisible (lingual) braces?

Insurance benefits cover the results achieved and not the specific tools used in the process. If you have orthodontic coverage, your orthodontist can use metal braces, clear braces, lingual braces, retainers, or even aligners to straighten your teeth. The insurance company has no say about which technique is used by your doctor. Good luck!
