Who should not take Lucentis (ranibizumab)?

People who are allergic to Lucentis (ranibizumab) or its ingredients or who have eye infections should not take Lucentis. In addition, children and pregnant or nursing women should not take this drug. Talk to your doctor to see if Lucentis may be right for you.
