Who should not take hypromellose?

It is not known if hypromellose is harmful to the fetus or whether it is passed through breast milk, so speak with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Most people can take this medication without problems. You should not take hypromellose if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
