What are the side effects of Omnipred?

Omnipred has the potential to cause some serious side effects, which may include symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as breathing difficulty, tightness in the chest, hives, a rash, itching or swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat.

More common but less serious side effects may include, increased sensitivity to light, short-term cloudy vision, mild eye irritation, including itching, burning or stinging. You should talk to your doctor if any of these side effects becomes severe or long-lasting.

Other side effects may include: severe headaches, sudden eye irritation, eye pain or pain behind the eyes, sudden vision problems, including decreased vision, tunnel vision, blurred vision or seeing halos around lights, along with symptoms of an eye infection, including swelling, crusting or wateriness.
