What is Tropicamide?

Tropicamide (Mydral, Opticyl, and Mydriacyl) is an anticholinergic, which relaxes eye muscles and dilates the pupil to enable the doctor to perform various eye exams and diagnostic tests. Tropicamide is administered as an eye drop.
