Fluorometholone ophthalmic suspension 0.25% is a prescription steroid eye drop. It is used to treat eye and eyelid inflammation characterized by pain, warmth, swelling and redness that results from infection, surgery, injury and other causes. This medication works by preventing the release of substances in the body that lead to inflammation.
