Can I use Pataday if I have contact lenses?

It is safe to use Pataday if you have contact lenses, but take out your lenses before you put the Pataday drops in your eyes. Pataday solution contains benzalkonium chloride, which can be absorbed by soft contact lenses. Remove your contact lenses before using Pataday, and wait 10 minutes before putting them in again. You should not wear your contact lenses if your eyes are red.
